As sessional staff member Sarah-Mace has taught in the areas of cultural studies, media studies, interdisciplinary design and contemporary visual art at, Griffith University Gold Coast, University of Technology Sydney, UNSW, and Charles Sturt University, Bathurst. From 2004 – 2005 she was the Arts and Cultural Development Officer for Parramatta City Council and from 2005 – 2007 was Manager of the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum in Bathurst, where she introduced a range of science based, new media art exhibitions into the Temporary Exhibition Program including works by Peter Charuk and Julie Ryder produced as part of the Australian Network for Art and Technology’s Synapse Art and Science residency program, and a multi channel video installation by Sydney artist REA toured by DLUX Media Arts.
